Experimenting again.......posting one of my latest watercolors.......been spending most of my time on my art quilts and the graduation quilts for grandkids. I will post a couple of those designs, too, if this works!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05252720700858424928noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5520695699660564276.post-58948471862658922942017-11-27T15:05:00.000-08:002017-11-27T15:05:14.673-08:00A new Adventure! We have moved to Boise Idaho! I can't believe it has been five plus years since I created this blog. I have many new paintings and quilts to add , but I have to figure out how to do it all over again! I am still excited about painting and designing quilts, and of course, keeping up with the activities of my children and grandchildren. Boise is a wonderful place to live with beautiful seasons and lots of walking trails that we enjoy. Hopefully in the next little while I can connect with some of the art community here. It has been a very busy year moving in and getting settled. Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05252720700858424928noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5520695699660564276.post-36585222620940458292012-10-02T15:53:00.004-07:002012-10-02T15:53:44.818-07:00

The weather has been so beautiful for the past month! It is time to pick the grapes again and make more juice. We have finally gotten out our cider press and have been making the most delicious, sweet apple juice. I am trying to get ready for the Beavercreek Open Studios which are coming up at the end of next week...in between harvesting and processing the apples, drying plums, making chili sauce, and finding a home for all the extra produce my farmer husband has in his bountiful garden.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05252720700858424928noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5520695699660564276.post-88712470056876801772012-08-11T10:34:00.000-07:002012-08-11T10:34:39.662-07:00

Summer has been so fun with our family...had to post a picture of some of the Jr. golfers that Jackson (center) and Scotty (yellow hat) have played with in tournies this summer. They are doing great and making friends all over the state! Kids have been visiting and we have been having lots of fun. The weather has been perfect until today when a hot wind from the east brought us weather in the 90's....unusual for the Pacific Northwest!
The families took off for Bandon and I found myself with a chance to paint in my cool air conditioned studio.....Trying to capture the joy of those wonderful poppies and all the inspiration from last year's trip to Provence !Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05252720700858424928noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5520695699660564276.post-31917496753105578472012-07-30T17:46:00.003-07:002012-07-30T17:53:16.140-07:00Poppies in Provence

There is so much inspiration waiting for me to have time to paint....and I really want to try to do more landscapes. This is one of the many pictures I took in France last year ......poppies beneath olive trees....does it get any more wonderful than that!
